Impulse Dynamics N.V. is focused on the development of electrical therapies for the treatment of chronic heart failure. Its proprietary technology is based on a unique scientific discovery concerning electrical control of heart muscle tissue: the application of nonexcitatory electrical signals delivered to the heart can modify its properties (e.g., the force of a cardiac muscle contraction) in a predictable and reproducible manner.
